The oath of office is to support and defend "The Constitution of the United States".
The Constitution of the United States IS the RIGHTS OF THE PEOPLE.
Not Businesses, Not Municipality, Not Party Agendas, Not State or Federal Government, Not Religions.
THE RIGHTS OF THE P E O P L E
Accountability Consistency Transparency
The worst thing about our society is not the people who commit evil, but those who stand by and turn a blind eye while evil is being committed. This status quo has gone on for far too long, and it is time for a new path forward.
We have been conditioned to think that "smear" campaigning or "mudslinging" is a hostile form of slandering of a public figure. By definition, mudslinging is - the use of malicious & scandalous insults and accusations (especially unjust ones) with the aim of damaging an opponents reputation. Since, our political body has forced on our society that this includes exposing truth and the fight for transparency.
This is no different from any ad or promotion that smoking is destroying your lungs, or drunk driving can cost a life, drugs will kill you or too much industrial burning is destroying our air. It is a sounding word of warning against something that can be clearly defined as a danger to life and well-being.
Lehi City Politicians, Lehi Free Press & the so-called Lehi Link Facebook group, have all teamed up to misinform, cover up and manipulate the public to believe a false narrative. This is not just a failure to perform their due diligence in collecting accurate data, it is a deliberate disregard of clear evidence and truth.
Lehi City has seen some great ups and downs throughout the years; other than growth and traffic, what remained consistent were those in control of information and pulling the strings that guided the overgrowth of our city. Among those who have been in control, are career politicians, city officials and social media/press, and the following are some questionable legacies they are leaving behind.
Who is running for your vote 2025
OPINION: Mark Johnson Endorsements
How are we to trust the endorsement of the mayor who turned a blind eye on an $800,000 laundering scheme happening right under his nose, let alone trust the candidates elected by the mayor to be in the planning commission? One of the candidates worked side by side with the convicted, one investigated for "common mistakes" cutting corners in her campaigning and the other actively participated in a felony crime against Jonsson Mink Farm.

What else do all three of these candidates have in common?

1. They are endorsed by Mark Johnson (Owner of Mustang design), Paul Handcock (Owner of Lehi Irrigation), Cory Maloy (House Economic Development Committee), HADCO (Lehi City Construction Contract owner) & Lehi Planning Commission members.

2. They chose to hide their party affiliation and ran non-partisan to garner more votes knowing that their actions over the years would not win party endorsement.

3. They are associate with Lehi Planning Commission in some capacity; a department that advises the council and mayor on what the direction the city should take, a direction that we have seen cause and explosion of High Density Housing, Traffic, Unregulated tax spending, tax hike after tax hike & a severe lack of transparency.

Who else are other member of the Lehi Planning Commission? Mark Johnson (Mayor) Kenneth Roberts (Former Candidate for City Council) Nicole Kunze (Former Candidate for City Council highly endorsed by Paul Hancock) Matthew Hemmert (Former Council member now Lehi Free Press) Heather Newall (City Council Member). Do you see the pattern?

The Planning Commission (Assigned to by the Mayor), seem a little TOO desperate to hide whatever it is that is happening in the inner circle that they are grappling to retain control by struggling to assign power to someone with experience and or ties to the Planning Commission, and its time that we find out WHAT. Its time to investigate and start turning stones and enforcing accountability upon those who is pushing for unregulated growth and over spending of tax dollars.
WHY TRANSPARENCY IS NOT THE FOCUS
These are only the most recent of discoveries regarding the above individuals. As the investigations continues to develop, I will provide any and all findings to include all others who are involved in hidden agendas and misappropriation of tax funds despite their status and standing in our community.
The Governors Agenda in Lehi
Courtesy of Mayor Mark Johnson, Councilwoman Paige Albrecht, Councilman Chris Condie, Councilman Paul Hancock, Councilwoman Heather Newall, House Rep Cory Maloy & the strong efforts of Lehi Free Press (Matt Hemmert) & Lehi Link (Steven & Merilee Boyack) to conceal and misinform.
Mark Johnson, Christopher Condie, Paige Albrecht & Paul Hancock have all taken part in not only the violation of the Jonsson's Mink Farm's Constitutional Rights, but have proceeded with approving and enforcing the agenda of the governor (Gov. Spencer James Cox) on the citizens of Lehi.
Internet Service - Fiber Internet has taken over Lehi by the storm, inviting our citizens to leave their previous internet provider and join the family of Lehi Fiber Network. However, the City, the Council & Mayor have highlighted and encouraged one internet provider as the must have; CENTRACOM. The City, City Council & Mayor all rally behind Centracom as the best provider, but failed to inform the public that this provider is owned by none other than Gov. Spencer James Cox and his family. Gov. Cox tried to refute the claim that he owns this company stating that it is only a "family company" but he has no involvement, despite being listed as the CEO & managing member in the filed documents, and refused to disclose the reason why CENTRACOM nearly went bankrupt a decade and a half ago; but has made a comeback since Gov. Cox stepped up from Lt Governor of Utah to Governor, where CENTRACOM has flourished.
Use of the media - Not only has the Governor stepped over the line to control what you do and see over the Internet, he has already regulated use of social media when he sued big social media companies in an effort to control what the citizens see. In addition to that, cell phones being removed from classrooms is now a statewide mandate giving no room for choice and rights. (As previously done in our schools, if you're seen using your phone during class, it would be confiscated and require parental intervention to retrieve your device so as to involve parents and prevent repeating behavior)
Starter Homes / High Density Housing - The Governor has expressed intention on the effort of the state to create over 35,000 starter homes by 2036 out of the tax dollars of the citizens. Lehi has shown nothing but exponential growth over the years correlating with the amount of time Spencer Cox has held office. (Utah Housing Policy Report No.2023-16; NEWS RELEASE: 'Built here.' Gov. Cox outlines ambitious plans for Utah's prosperity | Governor Spencer J. Cox)
Property Rights & Use of Tax dollars - Along the same avenue of state push for more housing, the Utah Housing Policy has not only begun imposing fines and penalties on some cities for not meeting their quotas on homes built, but they are entertaining this as a statewide approach to creating more homes, forcing taxation on the public to build these homes instead of allowing construction companies to acquire and develop the properties.
Utah State Constitution, Article XIII Sec 5.5 a&b and Sec 5.6 a&b dictates what income tax can be used for and what funds could be used for administration, construction and payment for property. The tax dollars of the citizens are being used to acquire properties across the state, not for common defense or public service, but for support of corporate businesses such as almost a billion worth of funding to the Utah Hockey Club, imposed on the citizens of Salt Lake County by Mayor Mendenhall and approved by Governor Cox. (NHL in Utah: Mendenhall calls $1B taxpayer-funded bill ‘truly transformative’)
As Paige Albrecht & Christopher Condie argued during the Lehi Free Press Q&A held July 28th, their interpretation of the constitution property right is a "rights to have property and not the rights one has in regards to their property" therefore giving government bodies and entities ultimate say on how an individual's property is to be handled. They further argued that the Bill of Rights doesn't only apply to the residents alone, but to businesses as well (the right for the businesses that have been funding their campaign). (Attached financial disclosures showing businesses that donated to these candidates)
In addition to the above agendas, the two City Council members who ran or are running for Lehi Mayor, have also taken part in pushing for the reinterpretation of Bill of rights, misappropriation of tax funds here in Lehi previously allocated to other departments, and the overhaul of Water Rights of the residents by implementing meters on irrigation water system across the City and more.
It is also on state records that Mark Johnson, Paige Albrecht, Christopher Condie & Paul Hancock are all listed as members of trustees for Local Building Authority of Lehi City, (Entity registration number 13045486-0140) an entity only created in 2022, and has its own budget (Attached city financial report) and Paul Hancock listed as the Directing member of Lehi Irrigation Company (Entity Registration Number 553498-0140) (Attached city financial report). Two businesses with ties to housing and construction, two businesses that have ties to the same construction companies that have funded their political campaign over the years.
Amidst the chaos, past and present candidates from city council and mayor, have fought for and tried to expose the corruption occurring in the city, but there remains the question of accountability and the whereabouts of the City Attorney and the Chief of Police when these laws should have been investigated for infringing on constitutional rights? They have a duty and obligation to the city to act, but none has been taken. It is now more obvious than ever that the State Auditor's & Attorney General's involvement is needed in every municipal level throughout our state.
